The Highs and Lows of Macros in a Modern Langauge

This talk was presented at the International Summer School on Metaprogramming. During the presentations, the following programs were written:

• A program which shows that the compile-time phase freezes expressions evaluated at compile-time. Best run with converge -v.
• The (in)famous power program.
• A simple state-machine DSL.
